Anapurna gained by Frankie Dettori from another journey that was fine to obtain a Group One success of the season from the Prix de Royallieu in ParisLongchamp.
Even the John Gosden-trained filly showed the courage and determination which had seen her succeed from the Oaks at Epsom when defeated at the Prix Vermeille but she had just had one outing since that victory won by her own stablemate Star Catcher.
Dettori was about the winner that afternoon, but he had been reunited with Anapurna now and bounced out into an early lead.
Anapurna needed to fend off rivals, although Dettori managed to dictate the speed to his own liking as hes done around the Paris track.
The very first challenger was once she began to fade Enbihaar, a second Clarehaven inmate, began to make progress that is relentless from the rear along with Aidan OBriens Delphina and Lah Ti Dar.
Each time it seemed like Anapurna was beginning to tire she proved the one-mile-six excursion and managed to locate a bit more wasnt any issue.
Following an inquiry, the stewards abandoned the outcome unchanged, although there was a bit of scrimmaging about the run on the line, together with Delphina looking to come off worst.
