Tyson”Gypsy King” Fury returns to the ring on September 14, in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to Protect his WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title against Otto Wallin.

The Brit, Fury, is a huge -2500 favorite from the Sweden native, Wallin, who’s coming back in +1000.
Yet again, Fury has seemingly hand-chosen his second stepping stone since the out-of-ring discussions to get a rematch with Deontay Wilder continue. Since his return last June, the Gypsy King had just two warm-up bouts with Sefer Seferi along with Francesco Pianeta before the very first fight with Wilder that ended in a split-decision draw.
Fury returned to the ring in June and demolished Tom Schwarz and fights another relatively unknown Otto Wallin. The chances are nearer than Schwartz when Fury closed at -5000, but the concept is still the same.
Meanwhile, Wallin enters the ring as an underdog for the next time in his last three fights as he had been a small dog vs Adrian Granat last August where Wallin scored the unanimous decision win. The Sweden native will take a 20-0 record together with him his opponents have a combined 259 losses.
Fury put on a tremendous display against Tom Schwartz, setting the Germany native away from the next round after displaying his outstanding defensive skills. The Brit may be one the best true boxers in the heavyweight division with tremendous head movement and footwork while also getting long rigid jabs that maintain his rivals at bay.
Wallin is an aggressive fighter that places down his head and goes to work first in fights. The southpaw does a good job throwing hands into your own body to attempt to slow his foes and he hunts for this liver to put them away. While there is a great deal of promise for the 28-year-old, this is a enormous step up in competition and as mentioned above, this is mainly another tune-up fight for Fury as he preps to the Wilder rematch early 2020.
Prediction: Tyson Fury (-2500) via knockout
Odds at BetOnline at August 19
