After a busy weekend of MLB, the Monday slate is a little on the mild side. Only one game is really about the day docket, while another eight will soon get underway this evening. Our attention has been drawn to the previous game of the night for tonight’s selection.

Before the series with the Mariners, the Rays were home dropping two of three to the Toronto Blue Jays. That was the end of a short five-game homestand for the team for which they travelled 3-2 total. This string will mark the end of a six-game road swing for the team.
Tampa Bay is 31-28 about the home field this year and 38-22 in games away for the entire year. The club is currently 5th in all of MLB with a run differential of +99. The group enters this string playing really well, having won their past three in a row and eight of their last 10.
Before going home to confront the Rockies, the Padres divide a couple on the road with all the Mariners. That set wrapped a six-game road trip for your group. They went 2-4 overall. The show with the Rays will wrap up a six-game homestand for your club.
