The first Version of Monday Night Football Falls off in Denver at Mile High Stadium in Week 2 of the preseason.
It is the preseason edition of Monday Night Football, but there is a storyline to follow within this game regardless. He may not be out there long; nonetheless, Jimmy Garoppolo will step on a subject for the first time since Week 3 of 2018.

If Freeman stays healthy, expect large numbers out of him. He rushed for 16.3 yards per carry last week from the Seahawks for 49 yards only 3 carries. Combined with Lindsay, the Broncos are in great shape in the backfield.
Together with all the Broncos devoting Lock a hefty workout this week, the 49ers are going to provide a couple of kids work . There is a QB battle happening supporting Garoppolo, with Nick Mullens and C.J. Beathard in a virtual tie right now for the backup role. Beathard played six games per year ago and was decent, with 8 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He also played in seven games in 2017, so he’s starting experience.
Nick Mullens has regular life experience also. He split with Beathard previous year, appearing in eight matches and passing for 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Pretty much with Beathard’s creation. Against the Cowboys in Week 1 of this preseason, again, they had been in the race.
Mullens and beathard both threw for a touchdown and interception. The 49ers may want to entertain a trade, but retaining three QB’s on the roster with Garoppolo’s harm concern may be for the best.
