Jesse Lingard and midfielders Dele Alli have been left from England manager Gareth Southgates squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers away into the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
Theres a very first call-up for defender Fikayo Tomori, even while striker Tammy Abraham, his Chelsea team-mate, is also chosen.
Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has been omitted.
England play with the Czechs on Bulgaria and 11 October on 14 October.
Everton midfielder Fabian Delph was remembered, however Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain overlooks.
Injured Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is not included.
There have been some tough choices to make, said Southgate. Its an exciting squad, with players really much in form.
There is still a focus on the evolution of younger gamers surrounded by great experience
Abraham, 22, had stated he hadnever made a decision yet on his international future because he is also eligible to play for Nigeria, having only played for England in 2 friendlies and not a competitive game.
If he performs against either Bulgaria or even the Czechs, he wont be able to switch allegiance, while the same applies to Tomori who played for Canada in Under-20 degree.
Its not ethically right to give somebody a cap just so they can not play for somebody else, said Southgate.
He and Fikayo Tomori are both based on merit and have become a part of our system right through, so we see them English players and they have a huge desire to play for England at senior level
Abraham has netted eight goals in 10 matches in all competitions for Chelsea so far this season and is combined second in the Premier Leagues top-scorers graph.
It was a rather simple decision [to pick him] as hes the major British goalscorer in the league, said Southgate.
Abraham played England in draws with Germany and Brazil and was part of their England Under-21 squad in the European Championship.
We put him into the squad very youthful, when we were altering the complexion of what we had been doing, added Southgate.
That was a bit early for him but because of the chance given to him by Frank Lampard in Chelsea, weve brought back him in.
That is now a great opportunity for Tammy.
