Rory McIlroy was handed an overdue confidence boost following a end at the DP World Tour Championship to his opening round.

McIlroy followed successes in the Players Championship and RBC Canadian Open with success at the PGA Tours season-ending Tour Championship in August, before returning home to Another trophy cabinet after asserting his win at the WGC-HSBC Champions in China a month.
We had just moved into our new home a couple of weeks ago but we still hadnt moved everything in and the trophy cabinet had not been built, McIlroy added.
I got back from China, walked to our sort of game room and around the wall were all the trophies and stuff. It is a reminder that is wonderful . All that stuff had been in storage so the very first time I had seen all of that type of things and US Open decoration and the Claret Jug.
It is cool but its also a great incentive to believe, you understand, Im still fairly early in my career and Ive done a long time but I want to do so much more.
