Karolina Pliskova swept to win the WTA Zhengzhou Open in China.
Pliskova wanted 77 minutes to conquer the 6-2 in a rain-interrupted closing for her fourth championship victory of 2019.
The participant, top seed in the event, just dropped one set all week to the name on her way.
Victory in Zhengzhou followed titles in Brisbane, Rome and also Eastbourne.
The world number two will close the gap on Australia’s Ashleigh Barty at the positions, however she’s yet to secure a first Grand Slam title. Before losing to eventual winner Naomi Osaka her best performance this year was reaching the semi-finals in the Australian Open in January.
