So as we approach the company end of the Qualifiers, that states are edging towards next summers championship? And whos in danger of missing out?
Football makes way for internationals during the next week, even with a slew of European Qualifiers being shown live on Sky Sports.
But how is each group shaping up? From the leaders to ties on top, we look at the state of play going into Octobers qualifiers…
Coming up: October 11 – Montenegro v Bulgaria, Czech Republic v England; October 14 – Bulgaria v England, Kosovo v Montenegro
Its beginning to appear to be a case of when, not if, for England. Following a fun triumph over Kosovo last time out, they have a four-point pillow inside the eligibility areas and a game in your mind.
A triumph over Czech Republic on Friday will seal their path plus they could guarantee top spot too if they can do the double and defeat Bulgaria week or Kosovo fail to take maximum points.
The place is a lot more up for grabs. Czech Republic are second but could possibly be leapfrogged by Kosovo when they fail to beat England on October 11. Montenegro and Bulgaria, both winless with two points each, will need something approaching a wonder.
Coming up: October 11 – Portugal v Luxembourg, Ukraine v Lithuania; October 14 – Ukraine v Portugal, Lithuania v Serbia
Life is looking sour to get Ukraine, who look set to qualify in a row. A triumph over Lithuania on Friday will all-but see through them ; four points would definitely be enough.
Portugal are far from assured of a chance to retain the trophy they won at 2016 in France, however they do have a match in hand over Serbia plus a triumph over minnows Luxembourg will give them a breathing space.
If they wish to keep their dreams alive, although Lithuania has to provide a huge shock luxembourgs unlikely shot in a location will soon be over with defeat to Portugal.
Coming up: October 10 – Belarus v Estonia, Netherlands v Northern Ireland; October 13 – Estonia v Germany, Belarus v Netherlands
Last time was ripped apart by Germany out but Michael ONeills side still have their destiny in their own hands. Expects on Thursday night though it would be a bitter blow but defeat because would not be fatal.

Previous month republic of Ireland appear in great shape after their comeback draw with Switzerland and beating Georgia next time out will leave them in contour Denmark and Switzerland .
Should Switzerland fail to win this one, should Ireland take highest points in Georgia itd give them a chance.
Georgias surprise draw Denmark last time out gave them their point of qualifying, however they could be removed this weekend – worse news for Gibraltar, whove lost every game and are out of contention.
Coming up: October 10 – Slovakia v Wales, Croatia v Hungary; October 13 – Hungary Slovakia Azerbaijan
Wales might be fourth Group E as they seem, but things arent all. A triumph within Slovakia on Thursday would take them par with a game in hand, and its near enough a must-win game for Ryan Giggs also moving.
The blip from Hungary of croatia aside theyve been pretty consistent up in the very best, but there is a reason theyre very much still in it and Hungary qualified for the Euros.
Azerbaijan are out, even though an draw with Croatia in September.
Coming up: October 12 – Faroe Islands v Romania, Norway v Spain, Malta v Sweden; October 15 – Faroe Islands v Malta, Sweden v Spain, Romania v Norway
The perfect album of spain has them as good as through and theyre able to book their place at the finals this weekend.

As France get set to confront Turkey and Iceland it is a week Group H. Two wins from two for Didier Deschamps side, that now sit second in the group behind Turkey on goal difference and 3 points ahead of third-placed Iceland, could visit them take a huge stride towards qualification.
Albania, who are six points from France and Turkey, will be hoping that they can still sneak in the qualification spots with four games to go, however there is not much room for error to get Edoardo Rejas side.
Coming up: October 10 – Kazakhstan v Cyprus Russia v Scotland; October 13 – Scotland v San Marino, Kazakhstan v Belgium, Cyprus v Russia
Belgium have a perfect record in qualification up to now and theyre able to affirm their place in next summers championship with success against San Marino or a draw between Kazakhstan and Cyprus.
Its also a final throw of the dice for Scotland at Group I. Steve Clarkes side must beat Russia to have some chance of qualifying, however if they do not they may still reach Euro 2020 because they are ensured a play-off location for winning their Nations League team.
Group I could be done and dusted on Thursday when Russia, who are eight points clear from Cyprus and Kazakhstan in third and fourth respectively, conquer Scotland and also Kazakhstan draw with Cyprus.
Coming up: October 12 – Bosnia and Herzegovina v Finland, Italy v Greece, Liechtenstein v Armenia; October 13 – Liechtenstein v Italy, Greece v Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland v Armenia
There is still plenty to play for in Group J with Finland, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece all still cried to finish from the qualification places with Italy, whove won all their games up to now.
Roberto Mancinis side will be eligible over Greece, who want all 3 points to remain in contention on Saturday with victory.
Finland, who have 12 points from their six games so far, are on course to make their debut and now sit second from the group. They face two games from Herzegovina and Bosnia, which are just five points behind Finland, and Armenia, who are next in the group.
