But listen, there is no excuses. We will need to become greater than Friday night. We need to be better going forward. We will need to be better compared to the ball. And we certainly need to be better at keeping the ball out of the internet.

Asked if there is enough time to employ a defensive change in system before Euro 2020, Southgate stated:I believe , I believe players take in strategic concepts very fast, particularly players.
So, we must keep reflecting on what is working, what is potential and learn from every experience we have.
Well learn a lot from [the Czech sport ]. Weve had simple qualifying games that havent challenged us.
