Lincoln City boss Danny Cowley has consented to become the new director of Huddersfield Town, Sky Sports News understands.
After managing just one victory from his 19 games in charge of the Yorkshire 19, jan Siewert departed Huddersfield.

Cowley had previously admitted to holding discussions with Huddersfield over the vacant place, but dismissed speculation he was about to carry over as Sheffield Wednesday supervisor, prior to Garry Monk’s recent appointment in Hillsborough.
He’s set to depart Sincil Bank after handling 176 matches for Lincoln, overseeing the advertising in back of the club into the Football League in 2017.
The former Imps boss also guided his team into the quarter-finals of their FA Cup in the 2016/17 effort when Lincoln were in the National League, defeating Burnley, Ipswich and Brighton in the procedure.

His first game in charge will probably be against Sheffield Wednesday in the John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Football from 11.30am; kick-off 12pm.
