So Awesome was third, having been a bit tight for room near home.
O’Brien explained:”She is real, has a beautiful pedigree and stays really well. She’s a gorgeous action she stuck out her head and when Ryan asked her to get down and lengthen.
“She’s been working amazing and progressing with each run.
“We thought that she was a filly that would be crying out for a distance this season, and we had been trying to keep her at seven for so long as we could with the perspective coming here and then maybe finishing off in the Fillies’ Mile and being a Classic filly next calendar year.
“That family all get a time and a half nicely at three so it’s really appealing for her and she has a lovely mind, too.
“The ground was probably a bit soft for her the previous moment.”
Love was introduced by betfair for its 1000 Guineas in 20-1.
Varian will think about that the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies for the runner-up, with the Fillies’ Mile additionally a choice.
He explained:”I had confidence she’d find the seven, although until you try you are never sure, and on her operation now it looked the same as a mile would be within her reach.”
